NAT 'N' HONEY

Hi. My name is Natalie Service and I'm addicted to Cox Honey.

A big thank you to the Bangart Family for supplying me with my current bucket.

If you have my name for Christmas, then this is a BIG hint of what I want.

Hey, Jill and Bri might be dealers, but I'm not! You're gonna have to get your "chrystal" somewhere else!

Natty! Your hair is sooooo long! It just reminds me how long it has been since I have seen you. :( Remember your special series of haircuts that cost a million dollars! Ha Ha! Sal sent you away from work to get your hair fixed. Ahhh memories!!! :)

Why'd you have to fix your hair? Nat, did you get an outlet haircut? Those are the worst!

"oh oh, someone forgot it was picture day!"

On a crisp day in the fall of 2003, Ian signed us up to take Family Pictures in some cheep crap hotel. So, I went and got my hair cut for the occation. I even told the lady to make it good because I was going to take family pictures immediatly following the cut and style. *Cue disaster* It was WORSE than an Outlet Haircut (which we know is not a pretty sight) so one can imagine my moment of hyperventalation and tears/anger when I realized there was no way I could allow this awful Mastercuts mishap to be photographed forever!

With the shoulder of Ian's shirt soaked with tears, he promised me we did not have to get Family Pictures until a later date. Perhaps in the spring, when my lovely lady locks would be grown out.

After many attempts to restyle my new no-style, I finally gave in to my pride and called my BFF, Shanda for help. She was always good at saving the day! She helped me figure out a way to fix my hair, and for the evening, she did manage to send me home feeling better about myself.

But when the morning showed up, and I had to fix my hair by myself, I again set into the tears mixed with hyperventalation. I had to be to work in 10 minutes. What could I do? I decided a knit snow cap would make a great accessory for the day, all day, while in my office, where there was no snow, or even cold weather.

My boss MADE me take off my hat, and after much coaxing, I did. With a quick jump back and a large gasp, he declared, "Oh my! You've gotta get that mess fixed!" And he immediatly called his wifes hairstylist to get me an appointment that morning!

Within 30 minutes, I was sitting in another salon to get my doo fixed. And boy did she fix it! She took 2 hours to do my hair! (Keep in mind, I'm supposed to be at work!) And then she "styled" it, which took another hour. Comparitivly, I think she used as much hairspray on me in that hour as Nalani has used in her life! Yeah, THAT MUCH! And when I returned to work...my boss, once again, jumped back with a large gasp and told me to go wash it out!

LOL!

So then I went over to my BFF, Emilys house, and washed my hair, and returned to work with the shortest, most flattest hair ever!

Shanda is right! Ahhh memories!

And Lindsay is right! Outlet hair cuts are the worst. But Mastercut haircuts are disasterous!!!!

Could we get some sort of visual aid to go with that story? I am sure you have a picture somewhere. Lindsey, Whitney anything? Well if nobody has anything, how about another picture of Natalie in her Homecoming dress?

Oh yes. There is a picture to go along! Ian and I went back about a week later to that nasty hotel where they set up a makeshift photo studio in one of the rooms. And that is where we took the most ugliest family picture ever! Thus the phrase, "oh oh, did someone forget it was picture day" works perfectly to describe my hairy situation! I have had those pictures under lock and key up until about 6 months ago. Then, in a weak moment, I sent one to Whitney, asking that she immediatly distroy it upon seeing it. I made her promise to burn it or throw it out never to be seen again.

Whitney, if that picture surfaces somewhere from your side of the country, so help me, I will hurt you! I will cut your fingers off so you can never scrapbook again!

A sincere apology to my fan base. But, you will never, I repeat NEVER see that awful family picture. However, the Prom picture is for your sheer enjoyment! Look and laugh at that one all you want!

Have you ever noticed how you (Natalie)are your worst critic?! I actually thought that Natty looked cute with short hair. But has any one noticed how stubborn our sweet Nat is? The first cut wasn't that bad but the haircuts that followed just made it worse. I think it was 4 in total. Or maybe 3. Anyway...all I am saying is if you guys are looking for an awful picture of Natty after the haircut incident, you may be disapointed because it wasn't that bad!! Don't argue with me miss Natalie I was there! You are cute with short or long hair. I just think you are more comfortable with long hair.

Just so you know, I DO HAVE THE PICTURE! I'm holding onto it for reasons which are my own . . . but I'm afraid that since I'm in the business of trying to make money for personal training, I can be bought. I do, however, remember Natalie telling me that she purchased an 11x17 of the very same photo. Now why would she do this if the picture was really that bad? I'm not saying it's a great picture, but I think Natalie will get over it if the photo is purchased. I can, however, find several other photos that will bring more entertainment than the "forgetting it's picture day" photo. Love ya Nat.
