Oh, So Scary!

She's supposed to be scarylooking, all decked out in her glow-in-the-dark skeleton costume - but really - I could just eat her up. She's the cuties little scariest thing I've ever seen!We had a ward party last night! It was fun to see all the kids in there costumes, eat donuts from strings, and chat with friends. Tatem said her favorite part was meeting Nacho Libre, who by the way, won the prize for "most spiritual", and after recieving his certificate said, "I actually think I should have won for 'most blastphamous!' " It was a FUN PARTY!

3 out of 20ish from the "Lansing Spring Hatch"
There was a whole gaggle of us Lansing Girls pregnant at the same time. Now that the West is calling us all back, one family at a time, Tatem and I were able to meet up with Alyson M. and Kim H. and their little chick-a-dees in Boise. Alyson and Kim are the kind of friends that let my pregnant butt stay with them (and their pregnant butts) for weeks at a time, while my husband moved away to Idaho for his extern, so I could keep my medical insurance by working at the ol' BSA in Lansing. Seriously true friends...and there are more of them out there!!!
I love my Lansing Family. We loaded up all the kids and took them to my favorite place...Qdoba!
Yummmm! There's nothing better (huh Brittni!)After lunch we headed out to the FARM (Alyson's house). She and Trevor live in her parents farm house while they are on a mission. We are talking a FARM with real animals and everything. Addy and Logan ran around like Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. Everyone played and laughed and shared and...stole.
(Thank you Alyson for intervening on that one!)
...8 ...9 ...10! Ready or not, here I come!
ha ha Just kidding guys! I can't really go anywhere!
Here's hoping we get to do lots more hanging out in the near future!

So I was on the phone with Martha the other day and she was like, "Hey Nat, do you have any good ideas for a simple Halloween treat?"
And I was like, "Dang straight Martha, give these a try!"
Ah Martha! She gets all her good ideas from me!

Yummy Deliciousness!

Remember the whole BREAD MAKER entry from a while back?
Well, after staying idle for a good couple months, I dusted off my bread maker in order to try a new recipe I found for Italian Bread
(in celebration of the Rome Temple announcement).
I was very pleased with how it turned out - so yummy!

Seriously. Is there any question who she looks like...or where she got those eyes?

Same angry baby. Different bananas.

Bear Lake
My sister Marci, and her family, invited us to go to Bear Lake over conference weekend. We stayed at their beautiful 5 bedroom home and played fun games, fit puzzles, visited the lake, listened to conference, took naps, laughed, and ate too much.
Remember on SCRUBS when JD and Turk were fighting
and JD brought home a large pizza...On the way back home we stopped in Logan to see the Temple. Where is Tater's other sock, you ask?
I think we accidentally donated it to the shore line of Bear Lake.
When we loaded her back up into the car after our last windy visit, we noticed it was gone, but were not willing to run back to find it. Oh well! This trip was very nostalgic for Ian , remember years and years ago riding up the canyon in the back of a camper shell with his brothers. UNFORTUNATELY, this was my first time to Bear Lake. I think I've learned my lesson to never say NO to an opportunity to get together with "family". So, thank you Marci and Bill for allowing us to come to Bear Lake and to create fun memories with your family!
